What does being a Friend of the Library mean?

• Fundraising, from large events to small bake sales, in order to
  • Fund numerous programs
  • Enable library participation in outreach events in the community
  • Assist in starting new collections
  • Create welcoming spaces for patrons and programming, such as the outdoor garden
• Bookstore maintenance
  • Organize the bookstore’s offerings
  • Create buyer-friendly displays
  • Sell on the first and third Saturday each month

• Donate books and media to the Book Sales
• Shop the Book Sales at the Friends Used Bookstore in the basement of 421 Main Street
• Use Venmo to donate directly to the Friends
• Shop at their merch store
