- Fundraising, from large events to small bake sales, in order to
- Fund numerous programs
- Enable library participation in outreach events in the community
- Assist in starting new collections, such as board games and rental DVDs
- Create welcoming spaces for patrons and programming, such as the outdoor garden
- Bookstore maintenance
- Organize the bookstore’s offerings
- Create buyer-friendly displays
- Sell on the first and third Saturday each month
