Wow. Wow. Wow. This documentary is so well done. The interviews with coworkers, friends, and family are honest and sometimes so funny. And the archival footage is tremendous. Mr. Rogers defined the childhoods of so many of us. His kindness, his openness, and his genuine love for child development is inspiring. It was interesting to look back at the life of this man from my now adult eyes and to see such a more complex human being. If there was ever a time to watch this film and reacquaint yourself with the messages of hope, perseverance, and tolerance that Mr. Rogers embodied, it’s now.
