Looking for the perfect beach read for your summer vacation? Well look no further than The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory.

Alexa Monroe gets stuck in an elevator with a stranger, albeit an attractive stranger. So when he proposes that she comes to the wedding of his ex as his plus one, Alexa throws caution to the wind and joins him. And surprisingly, she has a ton of fun with Drew, so much so that she might actually want to see him again. The only problem is she lives in Berkeley and he lives in Los Angeles. So they decide to try their hands at long distance dating, but can the overcome the multitude of problems that crop up when it comes to dating while living in two different cities?

I found this book to be utterly charming and fun. I rooted for both characters to find what they were ultimately searching for. It was the perfect romantic comedy, down to the adorable (yet maybe improbable) meet-cute. After finishing the book, I wanted more, and lucky for me, the author is going to write another book with one of the secondary characters from The Wedding Date. I can’t wait for it to come out! Grab this book before you head on vacation, and enjoy!
