This A.J. Fikry, a widower at the age of 39, is the owner of a bookstore He is bitter when we first meet him, and possibly in danger of losing his bookstore, and is hard to care much about. After a smart little toddler is left abandoned in his store, life begins to turn around for A.J. This is a sweet story, with surprises, lovable characters, and side references to some great books!
