Spotlight On: Easy Readers/Kits

Easy Readers/Kits: Easy Readers and Kits are books that are for the beginning reader. We have three levels of Easy Reader books (ER 1, ER 2, and ER 3). ER 1 is the most basic, simplest of words and stories and it builds up to ER 3. The ER Kits are sets of very simple books that focus on phonics and learning how to read. The Easy Readers are located in the Children’s area, straight back, on the wall next to the entrance to the Program/Story Time Room. The different levels are color-coded: ER 1 (Pink), ER 2 (Green), ER 3 (Orange). The Kits are on the bottom row of that shelving unit.
