This wine has won awards throughout the world for decades. It is the most celebrated wine in the world, yet, like all vines, they are unprotected, and herein lies the plot! The book’s genre becomes part true crime, part travel, part history and part culinary genre as the riveting drama of this great wine unfolds. It’s a sinister plot executed against this most revered wine estate. The mystery of it leads you through the beautiful Burgundy areas of France, the processes of the vintners, and this world unknown to outsiders which was fascinating. I loved the book, couldn’t wait to turn the next page!
