I listened to the audio book, which is narrated by Kathy Griffin, and it was fantastic. She writes and talks in a way that makes you forget it is a book you are listening to. It’s a mix between listening to one of her comedy shows and having her sitting next to you talking with you. She covers basically her entire life, from her childhood in Chicago to moving to Hollywood with her parents as a teen, and making her way slowly into a career as a comedian and actress. She covers some of the people she new before they were famous, as well as some stories about her family and failed marriage that leave you in a bit of amazement. Anyone who is a fan of hers, or who enjoys gossip, will love listening to or reading this book.
