Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay by Jill Mansell

Sometimes I just want to read a book where I don’t have to think too much, and I can just relax and enjoy the story for what it is, fun. Jill Mansell is my go-to author for when I want a fun, relaxing book and her newest novel, Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay, is no exception. If you are looking for an easy read for your weekend or vacation, look no further.

When Clemency meets the wonderful Sam on an airplane, she just about falls in love with him until the end of the flight when she learns he is married. Three years later, in her home village of Cornwall, Clemency runs in to Sam again, when he shows up as her stepsister’s boyfriend. The sparks are still there, but Clemency cannot break the bonds of sisterhood, but fate might have other things in store.

With charming side stories and fun characters, this novel is the perfect one to read when happy, sad, or just because. And if you like this one, you are in luck, because Jill Mansell has about 20 other books, and I’ve loved every one that I’ve read.
