Glow by Megan Bryant

Reviewed by Diane Basting (Library Staff)

A thrift store find of a painting with a secret glowing painting under the surface leads to a summer adventure of finding out who the artist is, what the painting means, and who is Lydia, but most importantly what is really important to Julie. Although Glow is set in modern day times with Julie, the star of the book is really Lydia and her sisters who work at a radium factory. They make this story a shoe-in for fans of historical fiction.
