Fairy Tail: Collection One

Let’s Talk About Fairy Tail Collection One:

Fairy Tail is a great starter anime. It was one of the first shows I picked up and it had me hooked from the very first episode (my Fairy Tail manga collection is proof).

The show is set in Fiore, a country full of wizards and their guilds. Our main characters, Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fulbuster, and Erza Scarlet, are a team under the Fairy Tail Guild. Each episode finds the team in some kind of trouble that usually ends up being solved with fisticuffs.

The characters, though pulling heavily from shonen or action anime tropes, are engaging, funny, and dynamic. Fairy Tail Collection One features the first twenty-four episodes, dubbed in English for those of us who aren’t fans of subtitles.

If you like Naruto, One Piece, or Dragon Ball, you’re sure to enjoy Fairy Tail’s over-the-top action and character dynamics.
