Big Russ & Me by Tim Russert

Reviewed by Holly (Library Patron)

This was a pleasant read if you grew up in the 1950’s and know who Tim Russert (Meet the Press) was. It was written in 2004, which was four years before his sudden death. In this book, Mr. Russert chronicles his life experiences and weaves in a thread of life lessons that he learned from his Dad. His Dad is portrayed as a large influence in his life. It was kind of pleasant to be transported back to a time when parents were looked at as the ultimate role model and authority figures were never challenged. It wasn’t a long book so if you don’t enjoy visiting that time period you can escape back to reality relatively fast. 🤗
