The Teen Advisory Board Needs You!
TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is a volunteer group of teens who work with a librarian to provide a teen perspective on the programs and materials the library offers.
What does TAB do? The possibilities are endless! What TAB does is partly determined by the members, but here are some ideas;
- Plan, organize and attend teen programs
- Volunteer at library events
- Help with programs for young children
- Help choose books & CDs for the library collection
- Write reviews about teen books
Why should I join TAB? What’s in it for me?
First of all, it’s a lot of fun and there’s always food involved! It’s also a chance to give your opinion and thoughts on what the library offers for teens. Your ideas will make a difference! And, if you’re looking for some volunteer experience, this is the perfect solution. Think of how great it will look on all those college applications!
Who can join TAB?
Anyone in grades 6-12, who is able to regularly attend TAB meetings and library events, is welcome to join. Members must be willing to behave in a manner appropriate for a representative of TAB and the Delafield Public Library.
How do I join?
It’s easy! Fill out the application form and return it to Mrs. Zignego
