CREATE A BOOK-INSPIRED BIRDHOUSE
FOR OUR TEMPORARY AND OUR NEW LIBRARY!
|
|
We provide the birdhouse, you let your creativity run wild! Decorate it with images, words, beads, paint—the sky’s the limit, but here are a few decorating ideas:
Collage images from or related to your favorite book...Like Percy Jackson books? Do a mythology-themed birdhouse!
Like books about the planets and the solar system? Do a celestial-themed birdhouse...paste on 3-D moons, stars, planets, comets!
Do a library-themed birdhouse...paste images of books, quotes about libraries/reading...get the picture?
AND, each birdhouse will have an engraved plate on it with the creator’s name, and will go on display not only in our current library, but in our BRAND NEW library this coming fall!
Birdhouses can be picked up at the library through Friday, April 2, and they should be returned to us by
Friday, April 9, so we can display them during National Library week (April 11-17).
SIGN UP AT THE MAIN DESK TO GET YOUR BIRDHOUSE!
