Researching a Potential Employer:

Here are some ways to gain information about a potential employer:

  • Wisconsin Manufacturers Directory (REF 338.767 WIS)
    A print resource listing Wisconsin businesses and manufacturers
    Organized geographically, by industry, alphabetically, and by product categories.
    Entries include contact information, number of employers, sales, and industry classification.
  1. Company/Business Websites:
    Most companies/businesses now have websites
    You can browse to gain more information about them.
    See what employment opportunities are available.
    Go to Google (www.google.com) and search by a business’s name, and look for links such as “About Us” or “Our Mission” or “Employment Opportunities.”
