Moving Sale Bingo
Help the library clean out clutter.
Monday, November 9th @ 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Like most people, the library has accumulated lots of “stuff” that we don’t want to move. bingo
  • Come & play bingo with us and win some cool prizes compliments of the library.
  • Snacks & beverages will be served.
  • Prizes will include; t-shirts (never worn), wine certificates, books, craft kits, office supplies, posters, puzzles, videos & much more.
  • All ages are welcome, the more the merrier.
  • Join us in the common council chambers on the 1st floor of the Delafield CityHall, 500 Genesee St. No reservations required.

Farewell to Arms book discussion at Delafield Public Library

A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway
Wednesday, November 11th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. 
 
afrewell to arms Book discussion will be lead by Bob Mitchell, who has been a library trustee for almost 20 years, will lead the discussion.  Before retiring, Mitchell taught American Literature at UW-Waukesha and psychology and cultural studies at WCTC.  Besides leading a discussion of the novel itself, he will present a historical and aesthetic context.
  • Location: Fire department meeting room
    1st floor of the Delafield City Hall, 500 Genesee St. 
  • A limited number of free copies are available to discussion participants.

Create a Corn Husk Doll Friends

  • Children of all ages are invited to stop by the library to make a craft and hear a cornhuskdolls story.
  • On of Prairie Hill Waldorf School's finest teachers will lead you and your child through a delightful story and craft.
  • Activities are free of charge/Held in the Council Chambers
