Residents who are 18 and over can request a library card. Children and teens under 18 can also apply for a card with their parents' or guardians' permission and signature.All applicants for library cards must show current identification listing their name and current address. Individuals wishing to check out materials from the Delafield Public Library must have a valid public library card. A free card is issued to any Waukesha County resident who presents identification and proof of current address. Examples of such identification include:
- Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Driver's license or other Government Issued ID
- Check book
- House or property title or mortgage
- Lease agreement
- Piece of personal mail
- Utility bill
